The Transformation Facility Manager
A Model Interpreter to translate UML-based  diagrams from IBM's ROSE to FB-based IEC61499-compliant design diagrams. The TFM incorporates and follows the transformation rules, reports the process and guides the engineer during the transformation process. TFM has also the capability of connecting to IBM's Rose and accesing  its internal Object Model. Through this utility, the engineer can choose which classes will be imported, their equivalent FB type if not declared, assign IPTs and IPPs and browse the models. The most important task of the TFM is the creation of new FB types in the ESS, by properly parsing and transforming the class and interaction diagrams from Rose.
